Tips for Keeping Clean in the Hot Weather
It is quite difficult to maintain excellent hygiene during hot weather since you are constantly bathed in sweat...
As a result, heat produces a variety of skin disorders, including rashes, acne, eczema, and so on. Even if we have no control over the weather, there are always ways to practice proper hygiene during hot weather.
Hydration
You do not need to wait till you feel thirsty before you drink water. This is because during hot water, your body system lose lots of water fluids that need to be replenished. You must do so because the body's system loses a lot of water fluids as a result of the hot weather, and you must drink enough water to replenish those fluids. Make a daily diet rich in fruits and vegetables because they provide enough water to replace the body's lost water fluids. Avoid any alcohol and coffee because they dehydrate you. Make a water bottle your workout buddy to help you drink more water before and during exercise. Taking enough water cannot be overemphasized because this habit is good for your overall well-being.
Avoiding sun exposure
In general, excessive sun exposure might be damaging to your health. Skin cancer is more likely to develop when you are exposed too much to the sun for an extended period of time. When you're out in the sun, it piles up over time. As a result, attempt to spend some time indoors to prevent being overly exposed to the sun's UV radiation. Take regular breaks in well-ventilated settings to cool down your body. If you have to go for a walk in the sun, make sure to bring an umbrella. Ensure you wear sunscreen regularly.
Wear the appropriate clothing at the proper time.
When walking in the sun, try to wear clothes that cover more skin, such as long-sleeved shirts, long pants or skirts, and long dresses, because these items provide UV protection from the sun's rays. Choose dark-colored clothes over those with light colors that are also loose fitting since they provide more protection than tight-fitting and light-colored clothes. Whenever you are not sure of what to wear, for a LBD (Little Black Dress). If you desire to wear tight-fitting outfit, try to go for darker colors like brown, black or navy blue.
Be more mindful of your intimate parts.
Shave your pubic hair on a regular basis to reduce bacterial growth and sweat retention in the area. Pay greater attention to your feet as well; clean and air them on a regular basis to avoid stinky feet. Be mindful of your armpit as well because this area can fuel odor if not taken care of properly. Use deodorants and take your bath atleast twice a day.
Body hygiene
You tend to sweat abundantly in hot conditions, which can lead to body odor if not well managed. To maintain proper personal hygiene, shower on a regular basis or whenever you feel hot. This helps to reduce body odor while also keeping the body clean and fresh. Invest in a good deodorant.
These are the things to be mindful of during hot weather.
