  3. Do not raise your voice on the phone simply because you have difficulty hearing the other person; this doesn't necessarily mean they can't hear you well.
  4. During a dinner party, turn off your phone and engage with the gathering. Taking calls during social events can reflect poor etiquette and may irritate others present. At the very least, set your phone to silent mode so you can attend to messages when it suits you
  5. If you arrive late to a class or learning session, avoid insisting on sitting in your preferred spot at the front, as this can inconvenience others. Ensure you don't obstruct others' views while finding your seat.
  6. Avoid discussing personal and confidential disputes on social media; use SMS for such matters. 
  7. Limit your use of cameras and video at social gatherings; focus instead on spending quality time with friends, colleagues, and family to create lasting memories rather than capturing the entire event. 
  8. In public spaces, refrain from being the first or second person to make or receive a call on your cell phone. If others are doing so, then you may follow suit.
  9. Never attend a party empty-handed. Bring something like wine or dessert to show your appreciation to the host. 
  10. Do not end a relationship through text messages, nor should you announce a death or other serious news this way. These situations are best managed through face-to-face conversations or phone calls.
